Shafts, shafts necks and shaft covers on road lanes are constantly subject to extreme conditions, such as seasonal or atmospheric temperature changes; permanent heavy traffic load causes constant load and shocks onto the manhole covers. Due to its rigid character standard mineral mortar can’t withstand these forces on long term base, resulting in the deterioration of the shaft rings. In addition transverse loading caused by acceleration or breaking of vehicles will cause damaging effects.

Shaft neck constructions, sometimes being subject to rehabilitation every to 2 years’, achieve a longer life time due to the wear and tear reduction by the application of FlexyPox and resiTwin EP.
